iOS 7.0.6 and OS X 10.9.2 Data Security Update: Apple has released patches for both Mac OS X 10.9.2. and iOS that confirmed a bug with SSL/TLS communications. This bug could allow what is known as a man in the middle attack where a malicious individual could intercept secure transmissions. It has also been confirmed that parts of OS X, including Safari, have the same bug. Until there is a patch released, we recommend using either Chrome or Firefox for Web Browsing and limit your usage of open Public WiFi Networks.
